Basic qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years pharmaceutical industry experience. At least 4 years of in-line and/or new products pharmaceutical marketing preferred

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in pharmaceutical sales
• Previous Oncology experience desired
• Solid Managed Markets knowledge is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to develop/maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and associations
• Proven ability to act independently and assume a leadership role in the development of key product strategies and tactics
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills as well as proven ability to think and act strategically
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Recognized by peers as successful and accomplished

Details:

This Sr. Product Manager/ Director will be instrumental to the successful launch of Rezonic (casopitant) into the US market. He/she will lead and be engaged in wide range of activities that will not only enhance their overall professional experience but also positively impact the lives of cancer patients.

This job will include the following responsibilities:
• Lead Rezonic’s strategic and tactical planning process in shaping the product’s short and long term vision in areas of key importance (including a focus on helping to enhance Rezonic’s product differentiation vs competition and ensuring physician/patient access )
• Develop and execute a well thought out and integrated KOL plan
• Lead the development and execution of all physician centered advertising agency activities, including creative brief development, creative work evaluation, tactical projects, time lines and budgets
• Organize and implement oncologist and pharmacist advisory boards and lead discussions to help future product development and commercialization
• Serve as primary brand liaison with the Critical & Supportive Care sales force (leadership and Account Managers) to ensure optimal launch communication and execution of launch plans and activities (including developing optimal targeting strategies and plans)
• Spearhead brand initiatives that support enhanced physician / patient access to product (i.e. lead / work on reimbursement, private payors, GPOs, hospital systems strategies and health outcome strategies and tactics)
• Contribute to the development of future registration and clinical Phase IV plans
• Developmental opportunities are available to participate and eventually lead efforts in forecasting, manufacturing, publications strategy

Since this position will be part of a small but focused launch team, it requires an organized and independent self starter. This person must not only be looking for enhanced leadership and responsibility but also be a strong team player.
